At the same time Past President Martin Kuchler was awarded a Paul Harris Fellowship for the stirling work in leading our Club for the past year. Well done Martin.

People coming and people going

Our membership has gone down to 18. How ever, all is not lost. Most of the members we lost will return in a year or two when circumstances at their workplace improve. We have appointed  all of them as Honorary Rotarians so as to keep in touch with them as we all know, out of site is out of heart, and that is not what we want to happen. Adv Tops Sishuba , currently a member at Mthatha Club , will join us soon as hopefully will Dave Roux.

We have lost our inbound exchange student, Lukas Jung , who has returned to Germany after a year with us. How quickly a year can pass! We have seen Lukas growing as a person over the last year and we are sure that the year spent as an exchange student will stand him in good stead in the future. We are sad to see him go but we are sure his family is glad that he is back.  Charlene Donald, our outbound exchange student will still be in Switzerland for some time to come and she is enjoying every minute of it.
